INTUNE launched in January 2020 to bring drinks expertise, taste and transparency to the CBD space after founder, Hannah, discovered CBD’s benefit of helping with focus at work whilst having treatment for breast cancer. INTUNE was created with a clear intention: to help people feel more present, balanced and focused in a world that rarely slows down.
I worked closely with founder Hannah to redesign Intune from the ground up and create a packaging system that brings the idea of tuning in to life. I wanted to lean into the play on words behind INTUNE, capturing the idea of being “in tune” with yourself as well as the musical act of tuning in. Music has the power to sharpen focus, steady your mind and shift your emotional rhythm, and that became a guiding metaphor throughout the design process. By integrating sound wave forms into the visual identity, the packaging mirrors the way a song can bring you back into alignment. The goal was to make INTUNE feel like a drink that helps you find your rhythm, settle into your flow and feel more focused, just as the right piece of music can.
The sound wave motif became central to the new identity. I designed each can with a distinct wave form and tonal palette that captures its flavour and functional mood. The vertical INTUNE wordmark gives the range a strong graphic anchor, while intersecting wave shapes suggest movement toward clarity and focus.
The result is a packaging system that embodies the feeling of INTUNE: a calm, rhythmic energy that helps people tune in, reset and change their frequency with every sip.
